2020 Citrus Twist Island Escape Creative Retreat

Cost: $546 (you will pay monthly in six $91 payments over six months)
When: Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 7:00 pm PST to Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 10:00 am PST. (Workshop dates: Oct 16-17.)

Rooms begin at $94 per night (plus tax), double occupancy. Single room, shared room, economy room up to deluxe room - we have reserved an assortment of these rooms as a block. (See more notes below about accommodations.) The inn number is 360-376-2200, press 2 to book your room.
Okay, we're pretty excited to announce two instructors for our 2020 retreat. We are so happy to have both Brandi Kincaid (yay!) and Sarah Bargo (yippee!) sharing their creative magic at this years retreat.
Please join us for our fall 2020 Citrus Twist Island Escape scrapbooking retreat on lovely Orcas Island, at a charming, seaside escape on a peaceful, brilliantly beautiful island. Orcas Island is that spot on the map where you can truly relax and unwind from everything . . . all while getting your craft on.
Located oceanside in the small village of Eastsound, Washington, welcoming Outlook Inn is within seriously easy walking distance of great shops and restaurants. We recommend arriving Thursday to do a little sightseeing in this sweet ocean village. You will take a charter bus from the airport to the ferry landing in beautiful Anacortes, Washington, then board the ferry to acclaimed Orcas Island. Orcas isn’t just an island, it is breathtakingly beautiful, where you will find not only creative inspiration, but comfort, beauty and rest.

Meals: continental breakfast is provided by Citrus Twist (Friday/Saturday), light snacks will be provided by Citrus Twist (Friday/Saturday), wine and appetizers Thursday evening by Citrus Twist, pizza night in the workspace on Friday night by Citrus Twist.
Wine & Appetizer Social: Thursday evening we'll host a wine and appetizer gathering for attendees so you can get to know one another.
Tea and Coffee bar 8 a.m.-8 p.m. in the workshop space, Friday through Saturday.
Friday Night Pizza. Served in the workshop space.
Dedicated table space for you to set up your supplies and create and craft on. (The craft space is open for use daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. There will be one workshop in the morning and one in the afternoon each day on both Friday and Saturday, with the rest of your time free for cropping and/or exploring the village of Eastsound that is filled with fun little shops and restaurants.)

Transfer by Citrus Twist from the ferry terminal on Orcas Island at Orcas Landing to the retreat location at the Outlook Inn on Thursday, October 15th.
What's Not Included:
Transportation: The airport for this event is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The airport is located 94.6 miles from the Anacortes ferry landing. You can either rent a car at the airport or reserve a seat and travel by Bellair charter bus from the airport to the ferry terminal at Anacortes, Washington, where you will walk on the ferry to travel to Orcas Landing, Orcas Island, Washington. Citrus Twist will have a small shuttle to pick up retreat participants at the Orcas Ferry Landing for the 8.5 mile drive to the Outlook Inn in Eastsound, Washington. If you are local to the Pacific Northwest and plan to drive, there is plenty of parking at the Outlook Inn. (NOTE: We will post information on the times the charter buses leave SeaTac and how they match up with the ferry schedule so you can time your flight arrival. While awaiting your ferry at the Anacortes Ferry Landing there is a quaint little dockside food bar, plus a food truck, where you can relax.)
Lodging: We will have a block of rooms held under Citrus Twist Scrapbooking Retreat with varying rates to fit your budget starting at $94 per night double occupancy (plus 10% tax). You can book a room for yourself or you are welcome to share rooms with another crafty friend if you plan to come with another attendee. If you plan on sharing your room with another be sure to book a room with two beds. The rooms range from economy (shared bathroom for every 4 rooms with a private sink in each economy room. The shared toilets and showers are private, are close to your room and having locking doors so you don’t have to share the space with anyone else while in use.) Also available: standard to deluxe rooms with private in-room bathrooms. Many rooms have ocean views, some with balconies and fireplaces. You can learn more about the Outlook Inn here.
Registration payment (including deposit) is non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for any reason, however, you may sell your spot to another individual. Once the event is sold out we will start a wait list in case you need to transfer your purchase to someone else.
Each attendee must register individually. Please do not register for your friend unless you do so in a separate transaction, under their name, with all their information listed. Preferably, your friend should register independently. We need all of their information for registration so that we can communicate with them directly. Please help us out by following this rule.
We ask that all attendees join our private retreat Facebook group and will send you an invitation to join this page once you have signed up for the retreat. This is our primary means of communication with our attendees AND it is very helpful for attendees to interact with us and each other before the event. A link to the retreat group will be e-mailed to you within a few days of registration.
